Getting out of my comfort zone

This color has been staring at me for far to long. Every time I go to the store I  think to myself, man that is such an awesome pretty color, but I end up being safe and wined up buying  neutrals. So i finally bought it! I love the unexpected burst of mustardy goodness. Im thinking either a hat or gloves, or possibly a scarf. So many options! When it is completed I will share the finished product in all of  its glory with you:)

I heart Missoni

I heart Missoni. A big one. Angela Missoni makes beautful garments. Her use of color is genius, her patterns are mesmerizing, and her ability to put a collection together season after season is truly inspiring.

Here is a look at her fall 2009 collection that is near and dear to my heart. Mainly because of her wide use of crochet through out her work. Take  a look for yourself. You will love it:)

Ive been making hats lately. Lots of hats. Probably because its getting colder here and fall is pulling in full force which only reminds me of winter around the corner. Plus, hats are just to darn cute not to make. so many trendy styles and colors. I die. Here are a few of the ones I have been working on.

                                              -Simple beanie with a brim-

-"The Slouch" Super trendy in Hollywood right now. Also one of my faves.-

-Another "Slouch". Serioiusly, these are so cute and comfy.-

-This beanie was inspired by a hat i saw at the Betsey Johnson store.  Super cute.-

New hat!

Here is my latest creation. I call it The Aviator. Reminiscent of old fly boys flying their plains. Its made out of a chunky weight super soft and comfy acrylic yarn. This shade of blue really stood out to me and will be great for fall and the winter. I think it will take me from the mall to the slopes with no problem:) Hope you like it as much as i do!

I you do like it as much as i do, check it out in my shop:)

I pledge...

I,Kacia Premo, pledge to participate in the Etsy Success Holiday Boot Camp to the best of my abilities. I vow to check in every week, do my homework and support my fellow Holiday Boot Campers. I will read the weekly newsletters and blog posts, check in on the weekly forum thread, read the weekly blog post, check off the checklists and salute the mascot. I promise to share what I've learned with those who need it, support my fellow Etsy indiepreneurs and, most of all, have a positive and persistent attitude. I understand that together we can spread the word about our handmade and vintage goods, making this holiday season a more unique and meaningful one to gift givers and give-ees everywhere!

Lets see what I can get accomplished! yeah!
